Kate Chopin was as rare as a four leaf clover for her time. However, she did not have the luck that that four leaf clover claims. She loved reading, and growing up she tore through books like a wolf would do her food. She loved reading, and she read all different types of books. From her love of reading helped sprouted her love for writing. Kate Chopin was one of the most daring woman of her time. She wrote about feminism as if she lived in the 21 century, when she lived in the 19th century. She was an American novelist, and she wrote short sorties. She started writing because in two years she lost two of the most important people in her life, her mom and husband. She was left in major debt and left alone with her six kids. Because of this she feel into a major depression, and from this came her writing. She started out only writing short pieces for a magazine. Later one she moved up. Her writing was not excepted by many because it went against a lot of there social norms. Her writing was bold, as was her spirit.
